Pool Table Construction

Key Construction Features of CL Bailey and Fischer Pool Tables

Legs lock up to the cabinet with heavy gauge, one piece brackets that provide additional rigidity and allow the components to be bolted together. Engineered lumber support beams bolt directly to the cabinet and are double interlocked for additional strength.

Proprietery formula gum rubber cushions with vulcanized canvas on the top surface for consistent and accurate rebounds. K-66 profile cushions also feature a reverse "C" channel that provides additional accuracy. Vulcanized canvas on back for superior adhesion.

The top rails on both CL Bailey and Fischer tables are bolted to the slate with using adjustable floating nut plates. This technique allows the rail to be tightened againts the slate with greater tourque than conventional t-nuts or threaded inserts.

Our slate is diamond honed to within ten one thousand's of an inch over the entire lenght of the playing surface. We also specify engineered lumber for the substrate for framed slate. This wood backing is glued directly to the slate, and allows the cloth to be stapled directly to the wood.
